Board positions are available with The Walnut Club!

Do you love our club and want to improve your leadership skills and help us take the club to the next level?

We’re looking for a few Women of Walnut (WOW) to join our Board of Directors. We are currently accepting nominations for three positions:

  • Vice President, Membership
  • Vice President, Sponsorship & Partnerships
  • Vice President, Marketing and Social Media

BOARD RESPONSIBILITIES: The board meets once per month for a face-to-face meeting in Center City. Additionally, we use the online team forum, Slack, for ongoing board communications as needed. An overall time commitment outside of our board meeting is about 10 – 20 hours per month, depending on your projects.

BOARD PERKS: Board Members receive a complimentary membership to the club during your term, in addition to other perks like leadership training and workshops.

Individuals will be contacted with the status of their application after the board reviews the nominations. Once candidates have been selected, a board slate will be sent to members for a vote in June.

Applications are due by Friday, May 25, 2018. Interviews will be scheduled following the deadline.
