What is this?
Let's get together... online, of course! The Women of Walnut are invited to a virtual happy hour on Thursday, May 21, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Come catch up with fellow members and let us know what you've been up to! Prepare your favorite drink of choice, make yourself a snack, put on your comfy sweatpants, and grab your laptop or cell phone to dial-in to this video call!
Additionally, we have asked members Kyra Kaszynski and Kathy Herman to discuss the new
mail-in voting ballot
that is now available to use with the upcoming Pennsylvania primaries on June 2nd.
Kyra is the Democratic Committeeperson for Division 7 of the 30th Ward in Philadelphia and Kathy is the Judge of Elections in Division 25 of Ward 5 in Philadelphia. They will share some insights into this opportunity and help answer any questions you may have.
Don't let the coronavirus keep you from making sure your voice is heard. Every vote counts!
This isn't a discussion about politics but rather about helping you understand your voting options with the upcoming elections.
Deadline to submit your application for the mail-in ballot is Tuesday, May 26, at 5:00 p.m.
The deadline to return your voted absentee or mail-in ballot is 8:00 PM on June 2.
