About our presenter
Susan Sandler is a TEDx, Theatrical Public Speaker, Clarity Strategist, Author and Fear-Buster. She specializes in guiding and inspiring people in midlife to bring their dreams to life.
Susan has been helping individuals, groups and organizations make significant change most of her life; as a speaker, as an organizational change and leadership expert for organizations like Merrill Lynch, Vanguard and national nonprofit Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and as an innovator in the nonprofit and public sectors.
Susan grew up in the entertainment business. She cut her teeth as a singer on TV, radio and nightclubs. At an early age she learned how to move an audience emotionally and create magic from the stage.
Susan accidentally became a theatrical public speaker at 63. Her powerful TEDx talk, “Punch Fear in the Face & Claim Your Life,” received a standing ovation at TEDxWilmington Women. The following year, she launched a theatrical keynote/one-woman show called ‘WINGS’ which is about life on the other side of fear and the journey to get there. It’s also about triumph over trauma and adversity.
Now, at 67, she’s writing her first book. It’s called Midlife Magic.
