Due to the 2019 - 2020 outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), The Walnut Club is taking extra precautions with the care of every member to include health history review and enhanced sanitation/disinfecting procedures in compliance with Centers for Disease Control ("CDC") guidance ( Symptoms of COVID-19 include (but are not limited to) fever, fatigue, dry cough, and difficulty breathing.

In order to attend this event, you must agree to the following statements:
(1) I acknowledge that the above referenced symptoms may be indicative that an individual has been exposed to COVID-19, and affirm that I, as well as all household members, do not currently have, nor have experienced the symptoms listed above within the last 14 days. (2) I affirm that I, as well as all household members, have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 30 days. (3) I affirm that I, as well as all household members, have not knowingly been exposed to anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 30 days. (4) In the event that I, or any household members, have traveled outside of the U.S. or to any city considered to be a “hot spot” for COVID-19 infections within the past 30-days, I, or my household member, have followed all recommendations for quarantine pursuant to the CDC and all state, local, or country procedures. (5) I understand that The Walnut Club cannot be held liable for any exposure to the COVID-19 virus caused by misinformation on this form or the health history provided by each client. (6) I agree to each statement above and release The Walnut Club from any and all liability for unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19.

Chef Maeve Joyce’s interest in the restaurant and hospitality world sparked when she was 14 years old. She quickly fell in love with exploring and understanding unique flavors and cuisines while working at both a Thai restaurant and Italian restaurant in high school. In 2016, Chef Maeve returned to the culinary world full time, where her passion for helping others could be combined with her love of food.

Chef Maeve started her career with Ocean Prime in 2017. She began as a line cook working her way up through the ranks to Executive Chef of Ocean Prime Philadelphia. She takes pride in teaching and developing others in the restaurant industry and greatly appreciates how food can bring diverse groups together.

This event is open to Walnut Club members and guests interested in learning more about our organization. (There is no fee to attend this event.)
